Lee Hyun-jung followed in the footsteps of his mother, Sung Jung-a, a former national team player, to win the men's basketball gold medal at the Asian Games and leave his name in Korean basketball history. Although he failed to be drafted by the NBA, he continued his career as a player in Australia and Japan while dreaming of entering the United States. In this Asian Games, he scored 27 points and 18 rebounds and was named MVP of the final.
