An Indonesian fisherman in his 30s suffered an eye injury from a rope while working on a coastal set net fishing boat near Gungsi Island, Geunheung-myeon, Taean. Taean Coast Guard arrived at the scene and provided emergency treatment within 45 minutes of receiving the report. The injured fisherman was conscious. He was transferred to an ambulance waiting at Sinjin Port with the support of the Taean Coast Guard and transported to Dankook University Hospital in Cheonan. The Taean Coast Guard promised to respond quickly to any future maritime emergencies.
