Korean Taekwondo has shown its strength in the Asian Games by winning gold medals for nine consecutive times since the 1986 Seoul Asian Games. In this year's 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, it will challenge for its tenth consecutive gold medal, aiming to win 2~3 gold medals with strong players such as Kim Yu-jin and Moon Jin-ho leading the way. In addition, Yoon Gyu-seong and Jeong Ha-eun are aiming for their third consecutive gold medal in Poomsae, and An Hyeong-sik will challenge to become the inaugural champion in the new event of virtual Taekwondo.
