The Seoul City Bus Labor Union decided to strike on the 16th due to the failure to reach a wage agreement. The union demanded a standard working hour calculation time of 176 hours and a wage increase rate of 7.85%, while the Seoul City Bus Transportation Business Association said it could not accept this. This is because there is a large difference in opinion between the two sides regarding the extent of the wage increase and the criteria for calculating standard wages. The union announced that it would go on strike if an agreement was not reached at the second adjustment scheduled for the 15th along with the resolution to take industrial action. Seoul City is preparing countermeasures such as emergency transportation in case of a strike.
