Actor Kim Soo-hyun's agency, Gold Medalist, won a lawsuit filed by Swiss watch brand MIDO demanding the return of advertising contract fees. MIDO unilaterally terminated the advertising model contract in May 2022 and demanded the return of approximately 577 million won in contract fees following suspicions of Kim Soo-hyun's underage dating controversy. However, the court ruled that Kim Soo-hyun was not at fault and did not recognize MIDO's reason for terminating the contract. As a result, MIDO did not appeal, and the judgment became final. The case was concluded last July with the Seoul Seongdong Police Station's decision not to prosecute.
