Japan's largest yakuza organization, the Yamaguchi-gumi, and its affiliated groups are seeing a sequential lifting of activity restrictions. This is due to a recent decrease in violent clashes between yakuza organizations. In the past, there have been over 100 physical confrontations, including homicides, but currently, there are no noticeable clashes. The analysis is that the decline in power and financial difficulties of yakuza organizations have contributed to these changes. The Kobe Yamaguchi-gumi had more than 6,000 members at the time in 2015, but it has now decreased to 270.
