At a middle school in Gwangyang, Gwangju, first-year students formed a factional organization called 'Successor Association' and bullied their classmates by ranking them. They forced the use of honorifics according to the ranking, restricted access to places, and even resorted to violence if orders were not followed. The education office suspended the perpetrators from attending school and separated them from the victims, and also filed a complaint with the police. The School Violence Countermeasures Committee will investigate and determine the level of disciplinary action.
