A woman in her 20s, Ms. B, died after being forced to fight teenage girls by her boyfriend, Mr. A, in Cheongju. While Mr. A claimed that Ms. B lost consciousness after falling during a game of tag, the police investigation revealed that he had forced them to fight using the "Yacha Rul" method. Yacha Rul refers to a fighting style without rules or protective gear. Teenage girls, including Ms. C who refused to fight Ms. B, were also indicted on charges of assault resulting in death. The police arrested Mr. A on charges of coercion.
