The Korean men's national volleyball team lost to Thailand 2-3 in the group stage of the 2026 Asian Men's Volleyball Championship. This is the second loss to Thailand, led by coach Park Ki-won, since the AVC Cup last June, and Korea trailed significantly in blocking 4-13. Although Korea lost the first two sets, they counterattacked in the third set to win one set back. In the fourth set, Heo Soo-bong's powerful attack extended the match to five sets, but Korea ultimately lost. Korea will play their last chance to advance to the quarterfinals against Qatar on the 8th.
