Justice Minister nominee Kim Seung-won claimed that he met Yang Mo, a broker involved in the past pharmaceutical clinical trial approval solicitation case, in February 2022. However, Rep. Han Dong-hoon refuted this claim and released related recordings. The recordings include Kim's statement to Yang, "I miss my brother so much that I want to cry," revealing their close relationship. Additionally, Rep. Han disclosed that Yang referred to Kim as "Seung-won oppa" in a conversation with another person and promised to lobby the head of the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety on his behalf.
