The special counsel team investigating Kim Keon-hee conducted a search and seizure of a database company managing the People's Power Party membership roster, obtaining a list of approximately 120,000 party members identified as Unification Church members. This represents approximately 2.4% of the total 5 million People's Power Party members and roughly one-tenth of the suspected Unification Church infiltration scale that the special counsel team is investigating. While the People's Power Party claimed voluntary submission of the membership list, the special counsel team proceeded with the search and seizure through compulsory execution. The special counsel team is continuing its investigation based on suspicions that Unification Church executives systematically encouraged church members to join the party by distributing membership application forms ahead of the People's Power Party convention.
