Cupertino, California—Apple today unveiled the stunning new design iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max with dramatically enhanced performance. Both models feature the A19 Pro, the most powerful and efficient chip in iPhone history, enabling advanced camera system, a new dimension of mobile gaming, and Apple Intelligence. Thanks to the durable, lightweight aluminum Unibody and Apple-designed vapor chamber laser-welded to it with high thermal conductivity, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max deliver the best performance and significantly increased battery life in Apple history. Three 48MP Fusion cameras—main, ultrawide, and the new telephoto—deliver performance equivalent to eight lenses, including 8x optical quality zoom, the longest zoom range in iPhone history. Plus, an innovative 18MP Center Stage front camera takes selfies to a new level. With industry-first video features newly introduced for professional videographers and content creators, such as ProRes RAW, Apple Log 2, and Genlock, iPhone can be adopted more easily and smoothly in any production environment regardless of scale.
