British contemporary artist Ed Atkins' first solo exhibition in Korea, 'One Day in Space,' opened at Gladstone Gallery Seoul. This exhibition explores the themes of time flow, extinction, memory and traces through various media such as photographs, videos, and sculptures. The central work, 'Passive Meck,' is a timelapse video capturing the natural collapse of a cardboard stage installed at the artist's summer cottage, reminiscent of the cycle of growth and death, creation and destruction. In addition, through various techniques such as photomontage and assemblage, it expresses the daily life of a family and the absence of existence, while reflecting on photography as a medium. The exhibition runs until October 31st.
