Shigeko Gaga, the oldest person in Japan at 115 years old, passed away on the 27th. Gaga participated as a torchbearer for the 2021 Tokyo Olympics and worked as a doctor until the age of 80. With his death, Fuyoko Kishomoto, who is 114 years old, has become the current oldest person in Japan.
