A mass foodborne illness outbreak caused by Salmonella infection has occurred among consumers of 'High-Calcium Strawberry Cream Roll Cake' and 'High-Calcium Korean Wheat Choco Banana Bread' manufactured by Foodmus, a subsidiary of Pullmuwon. So far, a total of 208 symptomatic cases have been confirmed in North Chungcheong, Sejong, and Buan, Jeollabuk-do, with authorities monitoring for additional cases. Foodmus supplied approximately 27,000 units of the affected products to national foodservice facilities nationwide. Upon suspicion of foodborne illness, the company halted deliveries and initiated a voluntary recall. Health authorities urge consumers who experience symptoms such as diarrhea and vomiting after consuming these products to seek immediate medical attention, and institutions experiencing two or more symptomatic cases to report to their local health centers.
