Prime Minister Han Seoksook pledged to build a Republic of Korea that contributes to world peace and happiness based on the high culture dreamed of by Baekbeom Kim Gu at the 150th anniversary commemoration ceremony for Baekbeom Kim Gu. The Prime Minister emphasized that Kim Gu's ideal of 'high culture' is being realized today through K-culture, and expressed gratitude for UNESCO's designation of the 150th anniversary of Baekbeom's birth as a commemorative year.
