A fatal accident occurred at an apartment complex in Cheonan City, where a moving truck ladder fell and killed an elementary school student on their way to school. A씨, a 50-year-old truck driver, and B씨, a 20-year-old foreigner illegally residing in the country, were arrested on charges of negligent homicide. CCTV analysis showed that B씨 operated the ladder while only two out of four supports were installed at the time of the accident. A씨 was further detained for making false statements to conceal B씨's illegal immigration status.
