The Democratic Party of Korea held a two-day National Assembly workshop in Incheon on the 27th and pledged to campaign and unite in preparation for the September regular session. Representative Kim Min-seok presented a letter of appreciation to former representative Jeong Cheong-rae and explained the difference in lines between the party representative candidates, emphasizing the expansion of centrism. However, when Representative Kim mentioned Jeong's previous statement that "there is no centrism" during his speech and argued for his own centrist expansion line, Jeong expressed displeasure, calling it "microphone dictatorship." Representative Kim later clarified on X (formerly Twitter) that he respects Jeong's opinion and promised to resolve the differences through healthy debate. Workshop participants held placards with the slogan "Republic of Korea Leap Forward" and took commemorative photos while chanting slogans such as "Grand Reform for the People," "Great Transformation for Growth," and "Large Investment for the Future," which are the slogans of this workshop.
