A moving truck accident occurred at an apartment complex in Cheonan, where a 7-year-old elementary school student died after the truck ladder fell over. The truck driver raised the ladder to the 11th floor with only one support installed, resulting in the accident. The elementary school student who was injured in the accident was taken to the hospital but passed away the following afternoon. Police are expected to apply for an arrest warrant against the truck driver and a colleague who is illegally staying in the country on charges of negligent homicide. The driver initially falsely claimed that he had done all the work himself during the investigation, leading to additional charges of concealing the perpetrator.
