The People Power Party argued that the Democratic Party submitted a complaint containing false precedents and pointed out the crime of "forgery of official documents." They also warned that the police were acting as pawns of power and that the suppression of Park could lead to the impeachment of President Lee Jae-myung. Park Sang-yong was the prosecutor in charge of investigating the Double Rabbits North Korean remittance case.
