🚗Couldn't go to Kawaii PTT... but unexpectedly found a healing cafe!
5 hours drive to reach the nearby outing in Bandung
During the holiday break, I was determined to go to Kawaii PTT... but the road was unexpectedly much more congested! It took a whopping 5 hours!
When we arrived, we were already tired and hungry, and the weather was chilly. We ended up giving up on Kawaii PTT and headed straight to **a nearby cafe**.
But you know what?
I didn't expect much, but I was totally satisfied!
A hidden gem, **Cafe Cimanggu Forest**🌲
🌿A healing cafe nestled in the mountains
As you drive up the mountain road near Kawaii PTT,
you'll find a cozy space **appearing suddenly** amidst the lush greenery.
The **modern and clean interior**, along with the well-organized atmosphere, made me feel good the moment I stepped in.
**Indoor + outdoor seating** were both well prepared, so it was enjoyable even on rainy or chilly days☔️
🍽Various menus, especially 'Korean food'!
What I liked best was that they had **Korean dishes** like **bibimbap, tteokbokki, ramen, and carbonara**!
Especially on a cold day, **a bowl of ramen in the mountains**, isn't that a rule? 😆
I ordered it without expecting much, but **the warm broth was truly healing**.
It was also satisfying because I could eat with my children **without worrying about their taste**.
🍓Strawberries too, and beer?!
In front of the cafe, some ladies were **selling strawberries**, and they were **3 packs for 100K**! The price was reasonable, and **the quality was great**!
The strawberries here are different from the ones I usually see in Jakarta 😍
And although **beer wasn't on the menu**, they said they could serve it if requested..!
(You have to tip generously in this case, right? 😉)
🧥Long sleeves are a must! It really feels like autumn.
Since the cafe is **in the mountains**, the air was definitely **cooler and fresher** than Bandung.
It was drizzling when we went, so it really felt like **autumn**.
Holding a warm cup of coffee and looking out at the scenery, **it was a quiet place to heal**.
Although I went to see Kawaii PTT, **I ended up remembering this cafe the most**, which made it an even more special day.
