The Democratic Party of Korea's Kim Min-seok and the People Power Party's Jang Dong-hyeok held their first meeting on the 24th. Representative Kim emphasized his political will for cooperation and proposed regular dialogue, while Representative Jang urged the need to monitor the administration together with the opposition party. Representative Jang requested that they consider the people's perspective on the issue of Chief Justice Cho Hee-dae's written request, to which Representative Kim replied that he would take it into consideration. In addition, Representative Jang proposed using a portion of excess tax revenue for the middle class, working class, and youth, and Representative Kim expressed his complete agreement. The two representatives also exchanged views on real estate issues and agreed to create a framework for joint discussion between the ruling and opposition parties.
