The 18th DMZ International Documentary Film Festival will be held from October 10th to 16th. 147 documentaries from 52 countries will be screened, and the opening film is 'Ha Jae' by director Hwang Yun, which tells the story of the Ha Jae village in Gunsan, where residents were forced to relocate due to the expansion of a US military base. The closing film is the French work 'Che Guevara: The Last Comrades', which deals with Che Guevara's guerrilla unit. Some events, such as the opening ceremony, are expected to be scaled down due to the financial crisis in Gyeonggi Province.
