The Gyeongsangnam-do region experienced concentrated heavy rainfall of up to 125.5 mm on the 16th, contributing to drought relief. However, in some areas such as Jirisan Mountain, precipitation is expected to exceed 250 mm, raising the landslide risk alert to the 'caution' level. Accordingly, the province and each city and county have entered an emergency duty system, strengthening reconnaissance activities for vulnerable facilities, and also controlling campers. Due to the heavy rain, 74 firefighting operations occurred in the province, including house flooding and roadblocks, but fortunately there were no casualties. The Korea Meteorological Administration warned of the possibility of safety accidents due to increased stream flow and urged caution for campers.
