The team of Seong-woo Seol, Crvena Zvezda from Serbia, failed to advance to the main tournament after losing 0-3 on aggregate to Hapoel Be'er Sheva FC (Israel) in the third round of the UEFA Champions League (UCL) qualifiers. Zvezda lost 0-2 in the second leg, and although they had a similar possession rate and number of shots, their lack of effective shots was the cause. Seong-woo Seol played full time until extra time in the second half and even created a goal scoring opportunity, but his team could not win. With the UCL main tournament qualification failing, Zvezda will move to the Europa League (UEL).
