A 19-year-old woman identified as S was stabbed and injured by her ex-boyfriend MNA, also 19, at a shopping mall in central Jakarta, Indonesia. The crime, recorded on CCTV footage, has sparked significant controversy on social media. MNA acted in conjunction with his friend FF, 20 years old. Police arrested both individuals and booked them as suspects in the knife attack case against the victim. According to police investigation, the motive was anger over the breakup. MNA harbored resentment after being notified of the breakup and proceeded to commit the attack. Both are currently subject to prosecution under Article 351 of the Criminal Code for assault.
