'Waiting for the Solar Eclipse' which opened at Sejong Culture Center S Theater is an experimental work depicting the process of audiences and actors waiting together for a solar eclipse that occurred 375 years ago. This play excludes narration or spectacle, allowing the audience to freely enter and exit the performance space and experience waiting in their own way. 'Waiting for the Solar Eclipse', where actors and audiences form a temporary community without distinction, raises new questions about the essence of theater and the relationship between theater, audience, and actors. It is also characterized by its increased accessibility so that diverse audiences, including those with autism spectrum disorder or developmental disabilities, can comfortably enjoy the performance.
