Democratic Party lawmakers Lee Eun-joo, Lee So-young, and Lee Hoon-gi welcomed President Yoon Suk-yeol's directive for a review of the government's ISA reform bill and the stock price manipulation prevention bill. They had previously criticized the government's ISA reform bill and publicly called for a review. In particular, Rep. Lee Eun-joo emphasized that ISA accounts were a tool to encourage long-term investment for individual investors and argued that problems should be corrected to restore trust. Reps. Lee So-young and Lee Hoon-gi also responded positively to the review directive and promised to do their best for the passage of the bills in the National Assembly deliberation process.
