The Korean men's national basketball team will compete against Japan, Saudi Arabia, and Indonesia in Group A of the group stage at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games. The group stage starts on September 10th, and Korea will face Saudi Arabia in its first match. The women's basketball team is in Group C of the group stage with Taiwan, Malaysia, and Mongolia. In 3x3 basketball, the men will play against Japan, Singapore, and Thailand, while the women will play against Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand. All events will proceed through the group stage to an 8-team tournament to determine the final rankings.
