At around 10:05 a.m. on the 6th, a report was received that a shell had fallen on a residential home in Nogok-ri, Idong-myeon, Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province. As a result of the accident, 7 people have sustained moderate to serious injuries, and 1 church and 2 houses have sustained partial damage. At 10:13 a.m., the fire authorities issued a level 1 response and emergency response teams were dispatched to assess the situation. Fire authorities believe the accident occurred due to an errant bomb dropped from a fighter jet during military unit training. Police received approximately 20 reports including "explosion sounds were heard", "a shell fell", and "smoke was visible".
