Jeju SK goalkeeper Jaewon Heo (18) became the first Korean goalkeeper in history to transfer on loan to Bayern Munich, a European big league team, for six months. The contract includes a full transfer option. Heo Jae-won grew through Jeju's youth system and was recognized for his skills while training in Munich through the R&G program. He was selected for the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup national team, showing his potential, and signed a semi-pro contract this season. Heo Jae-won's Bayern Munich joining ceremony will be held at halftime of the Jeju-Munich friendly match to be held at Jeju World Cup Stadium on August 4th.
