The ruling and opposition parties have agreed on a special prosecutor bill related to the June 3rd ballot shortage incident. The name of the special prosecutor bill is 'An Act on the Appointment of a Special Prosecutor for Investigating the Truth about Suspicions of Infringement of National Voting Rights, Including the Ballot Shortage Incident in the 9th Nationwide Simultaneous Local Elections'. In particular, all core issues such as the scope and target of the special prosecutor's investigation have been agreed upon. The two parties plan to process the bill at a plenary session after reviewing it by the Legislation and Judiciary Committee.
