In Indonesia, car rental operator IA, 48, was shot and killed in connection with a car rental vehicle embezzlement case. Police have arrested 4 suspects in relation to this incident, and the suspects were wanted for embezzling IA's vehicles. The suspects were confirmed to have rented vehicles directly from the car rental operator and then embezzled them. Through further investigation, police arrested 3 additional accomplices. One suspect currently remains at large, and police continue their investigation. Military personnel belonging to the Indonesian Navy Special Forces are implicated in this case. The TNI AL stated it will take strict legal action against the involved service members. Case records are currently under review at the Jakarta Military Court, and the trial is scheduled to proceed publicly in the future.
