The Constitutional Court (MK) ruled that the remaining internet quota of customers must not expire and must be usable until it runs out. This decision obliges cellular operators to provide product options with a rollover mechanism, where the remaining quota can be used in the following period. However, the implementation of the MK's decision is still awaiting a Ministerial Regulation from the Ministry of Communications and Digital (Komdigi) as a technical guideline. The MK emphasized that the remaining internet quota is the personal right of consumers which must not disappear just like that. Telecommunication operators are prohibited from charging additional fees for the use of the remaining quota.
