Here is a summary of the news.
Claude Code has been updated to integrate with iOS Simulator functionality (currently in open beta).
If you instruct Claude Code to build, run, or test an app, it will open the app you are developing in an iOS Simulator panel.
Then, Claude will observe the app running in real time through the simulator and work on the project until completion.

Screenshots of the device screen captured by Claude in the OS Simulator are sent to Anthropic and stored according to your usual chat retention settings. Anthropic advises against logging into actual accounts from the devices Claude uses.
The iOS Simulator integration feature is available for macOS users of Claude Code and requires Xcode with the iOS platform installed. The simulator panel is only available in local sessions (not supported in cloud or SSH environments).
Instructions on how to use the iOS Simulator with Claude Code can be found on the Anthropic website.
