Due to the increasing number of elderly people being excluded from receiving basic pensions mid-way due to income or asset increases, the Ministry of Health and Welfare has established specific administrative criteria for re-confirming the eligibility of applicants for history management. This revision of the notification was promoted to enhance the effectiveness of the basic pension receipt history management system and clarify the inspection requirements. In particular, if information on changes in elderly people's income or assets is newly reflected or changed in the administrative network, the government plans to re-evaluate their eligibility for benefits and proceed with the basic pension payment process if necessary. This amendment will come into effect from July 30th.
