Starting from 2025, the costs for issuing and renewing driver's licenses (SIM) in Indonesia will change. Costs vary depending on the type of SIM. For new issuance, applicants must pay between Rp 120,000 and Rp 50,000 depending on the license type, such as cars (SIM A), motorcycles (SIM C), and special vehicles (SIM D). Renewal costs range from Rp 80,000 to Rp 30,000 depending on the SIM type. Additional costs may be incurred when issuing an SIM, including health checks (approximately Rp 35,000) and psychological tests (approximately Rp 60,000).
