Gas prices at gas stations nationwide have fallen for eight consecutive weeks, with both gasoline and diesel falling to the latter half of the 1,800 won range. This is due to the implementation of the 7th petroleum maximum price system and the stabilization of international oil prices. Compared to last week, the average gasoline price fell by 59.1 won per liter to 1,893 won, while diesel fell by 62.3 won per liter to 1,880.1 won. International oil prices rose slightly due to tensions between Iran and the United States, but the rise was limited due to OPEC+'s decision to increase production. There is a high possibility that the downward trend of domestic gas station fuel prices will continue next week.
