Baek, who served as the head of the Criminal Division at Yeongdeungpo Police Station in the past, claimed that he was pressured by prosecutors during the investigation into suspicions of drug smuggling through customs. He was then transferred to the Hwagoksa District Police Station. Later, when dispatched to the joint investigation team of prosecution and police, he criticized the existing investigation team's 'self-investigation' and demanded its dissolution.
