KakaoTalk Open Chat, 'Reply' Replaced with 'Comments'···Strengthening Conversation Context
Kakao announced on January 21st that the KakaoTalk 26.1.0 update introduced a comment feature to open chats. The reply function in general one-on-one chats or group chats remains the same, while this new method is applied only to open chats.
Kakao explained, "In open chats, conversations can easily get mixed up when there are many people." They added, "Now you can add comments to a single message and continue the conversation on the same topic."
