LG Gram Pro AI Laptops to Debut with Exaone 3.5 and Long Battery Life at CES

LG Electronics has announced that it will unveil new ultra-lightweight LG Gram laptops at CES 2026. These devices feature a unique generative AI model called Exaone and extended battery performance.

The LG Gram Pro AI 2026 is powered by Exaone 3.5, a large language model capable of processing AI functions locally (on-device). The 'My Archive' feature stores data from files within the computer to support local searches and create AI-generated answers.

According to LG, the new LG Gram laptops continue the series' tradition of lightweight design, with the 16-inch model weighing just 1.199kg. The company stated that it primarily used Aerominum, an advanced material typically used in aircraft, for the Gram Pro.

The South Korean electronics manufacturer is also emphasizing the battery life of its upcoming laptops. The 16-inch model boasts a 77Wh battery that can last up to 27 hours on a single charge. LG claims that just 30 minutes of charging will provide over 9 hours of laptop usage.

LG plans to introduce seven LG Gram models in Korea on January 6th, including the LG Gram Pro AI, LG Gram Pro 360 AI, and LG Grambook AI.

Previously, LG unveiled two Gram Pro models in July 2025. The 16Z90TR and 17Z90TR models both featured Intel Core Ultra 7 series 2 255H chipsets and external NVIDIA RTX 5050 GPUs. These models weighed 1.3kg and 1.4kg respectively.
