LG Display (CEO: Jeong Cheol-dong, www.lgdisplay.com) will unveil a wide range of OLED strategic products at CES 2026, the world's largest IT and consumer electronics exhibition.
From January 6th to 9th (local time), LG Display will operate separate booths for large OLED displays and automotive displays at the Conrad Hotel and Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) West Hall.
This year's exhibition theme is ‘AI-Optimized Displays, Technology for All.’ The company aims to showcase display technologies optimized for the AI era while promoting the widespread adoption of OLED so that more consumers can experience differentiated visual experiences.
At this exhibition, LG Display will showcase a full lineup of large OLED displays featuring world-class technologies and premium automotive display solutions optimized for evolving SDVs (Software-Defined Vehicles).
■ World's First and Best Technologies Applied to Large OLED Displays
At the large OLED exhibition booth located in the Conrad Hotel, LG Display will unveil a new OLED TV panel that represents the pinnacle of OLED picture quality.
This new product features ‘Primary RGB Tandem 2.0,’ LG Display's proprietary technology that stacks red, green, and blue subpixels independently to emit light. It also incorporates a more refined pixel structure and enhanced algorithms for maximum light efficiency.
Based on this technology, the new OLED TV panel achieves a maximum brightness of 4,500 nits. Additionally, it features a technology that absorbs and disperses light instead of reflecting it, achieving the lowest reflectivity (0.3%) among existing displays.
LG Display will also unveil a variety of other products targeting the high-end gaming monitor market, including a 27-inch gaming OLED panel with a world-first ultra-high refresh rate of 720Hz and a gaming OLED panel with the highest resolution (5K2K).
Starting in 2026, LG Display plans to expand the application of ‘Primary RGB Tandem 2.0’ technology to its entire lineup of gaming OLED panels, achieving a maximum brightness of 1,500 nits.
■ Premium Automotive Display Solutions Optimized for the AI Era and Evolving SDVs
At the LVCC West Hall, LG Display will showcase a variety of innovative products for global automotive and parts manufacturers, targeting the trend of larger automotive displays. These include ‘Automotive P2P (Pillar to Pillar)’ and ‘Slider OLED.’
‘Automotive P2P’ provides individualized in-vehicle entertainment through a massive screen spanning from the driver's seat to the passenger seat. LG Display will unveil its first OLED-implemented P2P product at this exhibition.
The 51-inch ultra-large screen is implemented as a single panel, maximizing touch sensitivity and aesthetics. It also boasts exceptional picture quality achievable only with OLED technology. LG Display has the production capability to mass-produce ‘Automotive P2P’ using various technologies, including OLED, LTPS (Low Temperature Polycrystalline Silicon) LCD, and Oxide TFT LCD.
A concept featuring a slider OLED applied to the front dashboard will also be unveiled for the first time. By utilizing P(Plastic)-OLED, which is thin, flexible, and offers ultra-high resolution, part of the screen can be curved with a radius of 30R (3cm) and hidden inside the dashboard. During driving, it can be used as a small screen for navigation and other functions. In autonomous driving mode or when parked, it can be expanded to a 33-inch large screen.
In addition, LG Display will showcase various new technologies, including a transparent display based on micro LED and a stretchable display, targeting next-generation mobility.
Through its participation in CES 2026, LG Display aims to expand business synergy by proposing diverse solutions to global customers. This strategy aims to highlight differentiated product and technological competitiveness and further strengthen its competitiveness across all business areas.
