Last year, an incident occurred where the Galaxy Ring's battery expanded and got stuck on someone's finger, and Samsung announced the results of their investigation.
"Cracks developed in the internal battery molding structure of Daniel's Galaxy Ring causing it to swell. However, the exact cause of the cracks could not be determined.
After three months of investigation, there is no significant risk to the battery safety of the entire Galaxy Ring product line."
