Samsung Electronics' next-generation flagship smartphones Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ have had their key specifications leaked ahead of the official announcement.
According to a report released by IT tipster Gadgetsdata, the base model in the Galaxy S26 series is expected to see minor upgrades in display size and battery capacity.
The Galaxy S26 base model will be equipped with a 6.3-inch LTPO-based M14 AMOLED display that is 0.1 inches larger than its predecessor. The panel supports FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+.
The higher-end model, the Galaxy S26+, will feature a 6.7-inch M14 AMOLED display, supporting 2K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+.
Both models are expected to adopt Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for enhanced durability and maintain IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
The processor will be the Exynos 2600 and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 depending on the region. It is highly likely that the Snapdragon model will be released in the US and Chinese markets, while the Exynos model will be launched in other regions.
Both the Galaxy S26 and S26+ are expected to adopt a triple camera configuration of 50MP main + 12MP ultrawide + 50MP telephoto.
