Kakao (CEO Shin Ah) announced on the 2nd that it has introduced a KakaoTalk wallet 'Bookiym Card' which can be used for the Bookiym service hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the National Library.
Bookiym is a service that allows users to use national libraries participating in Bookiym with one membership card. Kakao provides this in the form of a Talk digital card, supporting users to easily and conveniently use the services of over 3,000 libraries nationwide without having to install a separate app or carry a physical membership card.

Users can access the 'Wallet' from the 'More' tab in KakaoTalk, and then select the Talk digital card in the 'Issue' menu or issue the 'Bookiym Card' through the recommended card list.
The issued Bookiym Card is stored in the KakaoTalk wallet and can be used without a separate physical membership card. It provides a barcode that can be used instead of a membership card when visiting a library, and also supports a function to check the status of currently borrowed books in real time.
