The autonomous shuttle bus will be operated with two routes centered around the Mobility Hub Center, which is located in the outdoor parking lot of Seongnam Comprehensive Sports Complex near Moran Station. One Ssolarati vehicle will be deployed on each route. The SN01 route connects the Mobility Hub Center to Moran Station and Seongnam-dong, extending to Pangyo Techno Valley 2 with a one-way distance of 8.1 km (round trip 16.2 km). The SN02 route is a circular route with a total length of 12.1 km, connecting the Mobility Hub Center~Moran Station~Seongnam Hi-Tech Valley.
The shuttle bus will begin operation on February 26th and will be piloted for two years. During this period, anyone can use it for free. The operating hours are from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on weekdays, with four trips per day. Up to 14 people can board each vehicle.
One safety manager will be on board each vehicle to check the vehicle before and after operation and to prepare for unexpected situations during driving. All routes will implement autonomous driving functions in principle, but manual driving may be intervened as needed in some sections where traffic congestion is expected to ensure safety.
