Samsung has released a new teaser for the Galaxy S26, stating that it will offer a "best-ever end-to-end" camera experience thanks to AI, which is brighter and easier to use.
The Galaxy S26 series will add more AI editing tools on top of "the brightest Galaxy camera system ever," Samsung said. The post also includes examples of existing Galaxy AI features. For example, restoring missing parts of a photo of a cupcake that has been bitten into with AI, generating an image from a sketch, or creating stickers from photos. While these features already exist to some extent, Samsung intends to simplify them to create "the easiest and most user-friendly Galaxy camera experience."
Samsung explained:
"Mobile cameras are now evolving beyond simple capture. The latest Galaxy AI experience integrates advanced creative features into a single intuitive platform, encompassing shooting, editing, and sharing. This results in a smooth experience without the need to navigate multiple apps or use complex tools, enabling a more flexible creative process that is faster, simpler, and more natural."
At the heart of this evolution is the belief that creativity should not be limited by technical skill or experience. From shooting to editing, the Galaxy camera has quietly expanded the possibilities. Now anyone can create movie-like videos, capture star trails in the night sky, and take detailed photos even in low-light environments. Moreover, natural language-based multimodal input makes editing as simple as describing the desired result with a few words."
While Samsung emphasizes low-light performance improvements in the Galaxy S26 series teaser, some have pointed out that the use of AI-generated videos alongside this message somewhat weakens its persuasiveness.
Nevertheless, improvements in low-light shooting and camera usability are always welcome changes. The official launch of the Galaxy S26 is scheduled for February 25th, so we will soon be able to confirm the details.
