Apple today unveiled a new display lineup designed to complement Mac and meet the needs of everyone from everyday users to the world's top professionals. The new Studio Display now features enhanced image quality, a 12MP Center Stage camera that supports Desk View, a studio-quality three-microphone array, and an immersive six-speaker sound system with spatial audio support. It also includes a powerful Thunderbolt 5 port for high-speed accessory connections or daisy chaining displays.
The all-new Studio Display XDR takes pro display to a new level. The 27-inch 5K Retina XDR display features advanced mini-LED backlighting with over 2,000 local dimming zones and supports up to 1,000 nits brightness (SDR), 2,000 nits peak brightness (HDR), and a wider color gamut. This results in breathtaking contrast, vibrancy, and accuracy, delivering a lifelike viewing experience.
Studio Display XDR supports a 120Hz refresh rate for exceptional responsiveness in motion-heavy content, and the 'Adaptive Sync' feature dynamically adjusts the refresh rate to match the frame rate for smoother playback in video or graphics-intensive games.
Studio Display XDR offers the same advanced camera and audio system as Studio Display, along with Thunderbolt 5 connectivity, simplifying professional workflows. The new Studio Display with a tilt-adjustable stand starts at ₩2,499,000, while the Studio Display XDR with a tilt and height-adjustable stand starts at ₩5,199,000. Both models are available with standard glass or Nano-texture glass options. Pre-orders will be available in select countries and regions, including South Korea, starting March 4th, with official availability on Friday, March 11th.
