# You rearrange the speakers to suit your interior, and the audio system recognises the changed positions and optimises the sound signal. Because it is a wireless system that needs no cabling, you can easily enjoy optimal three-dimensional sound wherever you place the speakers. When a scene of someone running in a spacesuit appears on the TV, space-evoking background music plays from the front while the footsteps come from behind, completing a sound full of spatial depth.

To coincide with the launch, a new-product briefing where visitors could experience the different level of sound offered by LG Sound Suite was held at the Ambassador Seoul Pullman Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by key figures including Park Chan-hoo, head of LG Electronics’ audio development lab, and Ashim Mathur, vice president and regional marketing head for Asia-Pacific at Dolby Laboratories.
■ Detecting speaker and listener positions for optimised spatial audio… overcoming installation constraints
Until now, creating three-dimensional sound at home meant severe installation constraints: a set number of speakers had to be placed and connected at designated positions. LG Sound Suite is a new-concept audio system that overcomes this limitation by supporting ‘Dolby Atmos FlexConnect’, Dolby Laboratories’ advanced sound technology, for the first time in Korea. Dolby Atmos FlexConnect detects the positions of the speakers making up the system, so that even when they are placed freely it delivers three-dimensional sound optimised for the space.

LG Sound Suite is characterised by letting you easily enjoy cinema-grade sound at home through AI and innovative acoustic technology.
When connected to 2025 and 2026 LG premium TVs that support Dolby Atmos FlexConnect, the TV speakers and the sound system each produce the sound best suited to their position, delivering even more three-dimensional audio. Customers can enjoy films, TV programmes, sports and other content with immersive sound regardless of the size, structure or installation environment of the room.
LG Sound Suite comprises a soundbar (model H7), surround speakers (models M5 and M7) and a subwoofer (model W7), allowing 50 different combinations to suit customer taste. Customers can configure the audio system to their lifestyle with 28 combinations centred on the soundbar, or 22 combinations centred on an LG TV even without a soundbar. Installing the soundbar with four M7 surround speakers and one subwoofer delivers cinema-grade immersion and spatial presence on an overwhelming scale of up to 13.1.7 channels.

LG Sound Suite is characterised by letting you easily enjoy cinema-grade sound at home through AI and innovative acoustic technology.
The LG Sound Suite soundbar also offers a ‘Sound Follow’ function that identifies the customer’s position and adjusts the volume and balance of the sound. Sound Follow is realised through ultra-wideband (UWB) wireless transmission technology specialised in precise position and distance measurement. With a single touch in the LG ThinQ app on your phone, the speaker system identifies the position of the listener holding the phone and turns that spot into the ‘sweet spot’ where spatial audio is felt best. This helps the listener experience optimal sound wherever they are.
In addition, the entire LG Sound Suite lineup features ‘Room Calibration Pro’, which creates sound optimised for the shape of the space. It analyses characteristics such as the form of the installed space and finely adjusts the acoustics.

■ A cutting-edge AI processor tunes content audio on its own, and expands audio channels
The LG Sound Suite soundbar carries the same 3rd-generation Alpha 11 AI processor as the 2026 LG OLED TV. This cutting-edge AI processor delivers ‘AI Sound Pro+’, an audio signal processing function that uses an NPU-based deep learning model. Without any action from the user, the AI distinguishes sound effects, music and voices and tunes them into customised sound on its own. It creates an immersive viewing environment by rendering individual objects such as actors’ voices more clearly and by detecting content types to refine sound effects.

It also features ‘AI Up Mix’, which uses training data to expand low-channel audio into multi-channel and employs every speaker to deliver rich sound. In addition, every LG Sound Suite product carries premium sound drivers from ‘Peerless’, the Danish audio brand renowned for precise sound, delivering deep, tight bass and delicate treble.
Even when you are not watching video on the TV, you can comfortably enjoy music at home through LG Sound Suite via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. It supports standalone and stereo modes, and its high-quality Bluetooth standalone streaming delivers music with clean highs and powerful lows.
LG Sound Suite completes a simple design that suits any space, with a modern colour accented in silver and minimal lines and buttons. It can be installed and controlled easily through the LG ThinQ app without buttons. The power cable is also hidden inside the stand so that it blends naturally with the speakers for a clean installation, and the soft lighting offers restrained, refined beauty.

Dolby vice president Ashim Mathur said, “Through LG Sound Suite, which supports Dolby Atmos FlexConnect, and the latest TV lineup, customers can now experience premium sound optimised for their space without a complicated installation process.”
Lee Jeong-seok, executive vice president in charge of LG Electronics’ audio business, stressed, “Through LG Sound Suite, which lets customers easily realise their own sound to suit their lifestyle, we will strengthen our position as a premium brand in the global audio market.”
Meanwhile, LG Sound Suite has been launched in Korea — following North America and Europe including the United States, the United Kingdom and Germany — through LGE.COM, and will also be available at LG Best Shop stores from April. Recommended retail prices are ▲soundbar 1,299,000 won ▲subwoofer 799,000 won ▲M7 surround speaker 549,000 won ▲M5 surround speaker 449,000 won, with additional discounts when purchased as a set. LGE.COM is also running a promotion offering customers coupons of up to 10% off.
