Nvidia is expected to unusually re-supply the entry-level graphics card GeForce RTX 3060, which has already been discontinued.
According to foreign media, Nvidia plans to re-supply RTX 3060 inventory to its partners between March 10 and 20.
Especially as AI servers are absorbing a large amount of memory, it has become difficult to secure memory for consumer GPUs, and this has increased the burden on the production of the latest RTX 50 series. In this context, Nvidia is analyzed to have brought back the RTX 3060 based on GDDR6, which has relatively stable supply and low price, as a 'cost-effective entry-level' alternative.
The RTX 3060 offered two memory configurations of 8GB and 12GB at launch. Both models use GDDR6 memory, but the 12GB model supports a 196-bit memory bus, while the 8GB model is limited to a 128-bit bus.
